------ MILLARVERSE VARIANT COVERS!

No, it's not an actual crossover. It's just a pic spreaded across three variant covers for Nemesis, Superior and Kick-Ass, respectively. But still pretty cool.

------ PARALLAX, YOU'RE LEAKING

A concept image of Parallax from the Green Lantern movie has leaked. And it is obviously still online despite Warner Bros' efforts to get it offline.

------ STACKING DEBUT TRAILER RELEASED

Tim schafer has a habir of making awesome but underrated games. As much as i'd like to believe otherwise, this doesn't seem like it'll be the exception. Let's hope i'm wrong.

------ APOLLO 18 POSTER RELEASED

Timur Bekmambetov is the Tim Schafer of movies. He made amazing movies such as Night Watch, Day Watch and Wanted, yet he still isn't a big name in the hollywood industry. Let's hope that changes as well.

------ BACK TO BACK TO THE FUTURE

IGN released the first screenshots of the videogame adaptation of the saga by Telltale Games. Seems cool. It's nice to know adventure games aren't dead yet.

------ RUMOROUS RUMORS: BATMAN 3 PLOT

It is said that is said that someone else said that the Batman comic in saga (or at least one of them) in which the next film will be based is "Prey" in which Batman is persued by a cop turned vigilante (Officer Cort / Night Scourge) and police psychiatrist called Dr Hugo Strange, who also convinces Commisioner Gordon to assamble atask force to hunt Batman down. Also, Strange eventually learns Batman's true identity but keeps his mouth shut. And Catwoman also appears in these comics. So this whole this would fit pretty nicely with the end of tha lst film and the rumors that have been going around lately about Nolan casting a female role. Tom Hardy, who has already confirmed an appearence could play either Officer Cort or Dr Hugo Strange.

I'll keep this one short: Michael Kane, who plays Alfred, says that Chris Nolan said the schedule for the movie was "Script in January, shoot in May, finish in November". Maybe we'll get some pics from the set then.

---------ERIC CALDERONE - BAD ROMANCE (LADY GAGA COVER)

Oh yes that left me speechless.

You can watch more videos of this guy here. He's got some cool covers and download link for the MP3s in the underbar in each video. Cool stuff.

-------THE INCREDIBLE HULK TV SERIES GETS DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER

Colgate. Total Protection.

As it turns out, Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy) will be directing the series and David Eick (Battlestar Galactica) will be producing it. Among the executive producers are Gary Ungar, Jeph Loeb, and Joe Quesada. Apparently, Del Toro had already tried to direct a Hulk movie back in 2002, so maybe we can expect something more fan dedicated, and at least equally good as the last movie. However, considering his philmography, I'm pretty sure this series will kick ass and we don't need to worry, right?. It's supposed to be along the lines of the old TV series, with a bit of the other Hulk movies and it will be an origin stories. It will premiere on ABC around fall 2012, after The Avengers hits theaters, but it is unclear wether it will tie in with the current Avengers movieverse or not. The hulk is going to be "a mixture of prosthetics, puppetry and CGI".

More Updates!

------THE THING PREQUEL DELAYED

The Thing prequel, which apparently will also be called...The Thing, has been delayed. It was supposed to hit theaters on June 30, 2011, but it was posponed undefinitely because Universal really wants to focus a bit more on the next The Fast & The Furious movie.

They really hate cockroaches.

------WOLVERINE 2 GETS A NAME

It ahs been announced that the nextwolverine movie will be called *drumrolls* The Wolverine and it seems it will be a stand-alone film with no direct relation to the previous X-Men movies.

Wolverine eats his way through Japan.

------COWBOYS & ALIENS TEASER POSTER RELEASED

Massive Update

Well, I haven't updated the blog in a week, but that doesn't mean I haven't been keeping up with geeky stuff. Now I have time to update, so I will.

---------SILENT HILL 2 NEWS

Official synopsis:
"For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever."

The Film will be produced by Samual Hadida and Don Carmody, who just finished producing Resident Evil Afterlife and it will be directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane). They said they're very excited to work with Konami and they'll try to keep as much of the people who worked on the first film as they can. They also showed great emphasis on the 3D aspect of the film. Additionally, the head of the art team behind the first videogame stated that he turned down an offer to work on this film because he was too busy.

---------NEW (AND FINAL) TRON: LEGACY TRAILER

---------RESIDENT EVIL: DAMNATION TEASER TRAILER

This is, of course, a sequel to the previous Resident Evil CGI movie Resident Evil: Degeneration.

---------GREEN LANTERN SNEAK PEEK

This is just a TV Spot of the show in which a longer preview will be shown, as advertised in the video. By the way, this is the only true HD version of this video out there, so watch it in 720p if you can. You're welcome.

----------NEW MORTAL KOMBAT TRAILER

----------ASSASSIN'S CREED: ASCENDANCE TRAILER

This will be animated webisodes (or a short, it's not clear) which will be parallel to the story of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

----------ASSASSIN'S CREED: BROTHERHOOD LAUNCH TRAILER

----------ASSASSIN'S CREED: THE FALL IS OUT

----------
PREVIEW OF THOR AND CAPTAIN AMERICA'S TOYS

Personally, I think Cap's sucks, i hope they release some better ones.

---------TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON 2 ANNOUNCED

Hasbro announced during its investor conference that a sequel for Transformers: War for Cybertron is in development and will come out in 2012. And since the third movie, Transformers: Dark of the moon, is coming out in 2011, there'll also be a game for the movie.

Champion - Perfect in Between / No Heaven

Since I haven't really shared anything music-related so far, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is drawing near, I decided to share with you this awesome, awesome song by Champion (a.k.a. DJ Champion) featured in one of the first trailers. The song:

And the trailer it's in:

Check out the band if you have the opportunity, they have many cool songs like "No Heaven", "So big", "The Plow" and many more. You can find the songs from their first album "Chill 'em All" on iTunes, as well as a live album and remix album and you can order their latest one, "Resistance", on their official website. You can download "Perfect in Between" and "The Plow" for free (legally) here.

You can also hear the full "No Heaven" on the Borderlands trailer:

MJ is out and Akira has bad news

More news concerning the Spider-Man reebot. Apparently Mary Jane Watson won't be in there. Although it was pretty obvious by the fact that they cast Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy but they hadn't really mentioned MJ. Will the green goblin kill Gwen in the movie? I certainly hope so. What? don't tell me you like clichèd happy endings.

This relationship is dead

But there's also bad news. It is said that Zac Efron was offered an unespecified role in the live-action adaptation of the manga/anime Akira. He was probably offered one of these two roles:
Tetsuo, the exploding bionic arm guy with psychic powers

Or Kaneda, the guy that puts Tetsuo in his place

THIS GUY:

To this I can only say:

Aunt May & Uncle OMG-I-Got-Shot Cast, Avengers faces delays, and Tron gets animated

My aunt always used to say...

First things first: Uncle Ben and Aunt May have been cast for the upcoming reboot of Spider-Man.

That's right, Martin Sheen, the guy who got owned by Spawn in that mediocre movie back in the 90's...and Sally Field, a.k.a. Forrest Gump's mom..you know, the one that always used to say life's like a big box of chocolates.

Teaming up against budget cuts!

Also, since Marvel decided to keep things cheap with The Avengers movie, many people have decided walk out of the project and pre-production has been delayed "weeks, maybe even months". Release date is still set for May 4, 2012.

So close, yet so far...

Finally, Tron is getting an animated series called Tron: Uprising on Disney XD. The executive producer and director will be Charlie Bean and among the voice cast are: Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Lance Henriksen, and Bruce Boxleitner.

Do I really need a reason to post this picture?

Silent Hill 2 Gets name & Wolverine Rumor

By now you've probably heard that Wolverine could make a cameo on X-Men First Class. This rumor was started when a taxi driver claimed on facebook to have given a ride to Hugh Jack, in the same city where First Class is shooting, but the rumor has been denied multiple times. The fact that he may be visiting the set doesn't mean that he'll be in the movie, maybe he's just paying a visit to someone. Like....magneto.

Those were MY cheetos!!!

But honestly, if he were to make a cameo, you really think they'd tell us? HA!

In other news, the sequel to the Silent Hill movie has been named "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D"

It will be basically an adaptation of the Silent Hill 3 videogame since the plot details that have been given state that ''On Heather's 18th birthday her father disappears and she discovers some dark secrets about her past that make her question who she truly is''. Or something. Blah Blah MONSTERS!!!

ChEeeEeetooOOOooosS!!!
